Movie Review (Synopsis)

From Hell (Film)                                          

From Hell  Film is an adaptation  of the novel of the same title by Alan Moore. It is based upon the legend of the late 19th century of the serial killer that is Jack The Ripper.  This thriller and horror true life movie was occur in  1888. The ruthless and cold-blooded killer starts to hunt the prostitutes in East London, and while the murder's work is savage, gore and cruel  which is the mutilation of his victims suggested that, the fiend has an extensive in medical field or background.

During at that time, the political condition was unstable, and barely contained the scandal among the royal family, the murder's grisly exploits shock and frighten all the England citizens and one of the Scotland Yard's top inspectors, Fred Abberline  starring by (Johnny Depp),  is put on the case, with his partner, Peter Godley starring by  (Robbie Coltrane).

Basically, Fred Abberline is totally depending on one's point of view only, is either blessed or cursed with the second sight, and while he is still in blurs with his ability to see the future events with the opium and other drugs, he is still has an uncanny ability to ferret out the dangerous criminals, which is he put the test with his partner,  Peter Godley  in order to search and find the Ripper.

When they are investigating the neighborhood vicinity where the crime occur, they become acquainted with the group of prostitutes and the street people who were the friends and compatriots of the victims. Abberline finds himself falling in love with Mary Kelly starring by (Heather Graham), who is a gorgeous Irish streetwalker. 

As Abberline tries to identify the real killer before Mary Kelly  will become the next victim,  Peter Godley and he have to contend with Sir Charles Warren starring by (Lan Richardson), their superior who is keen to pin  the murders on a culprit who is not the British citizen , and Sir William Gull starring by ( Lan Holm) a respected physician who has his own ideas about the murders and the benefits of psycho surgery.

Actually,the real  Ripper in this film is Sir William Gull, who is a fine gentleman, retired surgeon and physician ordinary to Queen Victoria, and due to his expertise and major  in anatomy and the soul field, he becomes the scientific adviser of Abberline.
